Nothing too much to describe here.
This is Twistleton Scar in the Yorkshire Dales and was photographed last weekend. I love the location and it’s not often I can get to it for dawn. I really need some time to perfect the processing of the image but I hope you like this early version.
Wow, this is amazing!
Thank you very much
Nice!
Thank you.
Hi Robin
Excellent image. Just bought a Omd em1 and having fun experimenting with it. Olympus image quality is great – can you say what lens you used?
Cheers
Walt
Thank you. Yes the Olympus image quality is excellent and the EM1 is a great camera which I’m sure won’t dissapoint. This was shot with the Olympus 9-18 lens at 10mm and aperture of f/7.1.
Great to know as I have this lens also. Thanks a lot Robin. 🙂
A lovely image Robin I like the colour and tones very much.
Thank you. I also used a Reverse ND Graduated filter on the sky as it gave a more natural feel to the sky than a traditional ND grad.
Great image, of course. Can you say where is the point of focus?
Thanks a lot Robin.
Thank you. The focus is on the rocks in the foreground to the right side. It’s probably about 5-6 feet from the camera.
I’m with the consensus-fine composition, interesting landscape, and nice rich tones without that overcooked look. I have been wanting that 9-18 !
Thank you. Get the 9-18 it’s a great lens and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
What a beautiful light !
It was wonderful light that morning following the overnight rain. The light is always better following a storm.
