Still Working Through Higger Tor Photos

With everything that’s going on (or wrong) in the world currently I don’t feel much like doing photography, and I’m sure a lot of others feel the same way. I’ll therefore keep this one brief to share a recent photo and let you know about a new video series on YouTube.

View from Higger Tor in the Peak District. Fuji XT3 with Fuji 10-24 lens at 10mm. Tripod exposure of 1/12″ at f/13.0 and ISO160. Three stop Reverse ND Grad filter.

This is another of my Higger Tor images at dawn. These days, I struggle to drag myself out of bed early enough to catch the light, but when I do I love the experience. I also enjoy processing the images later and find it therapeutic and a release. It also makes me feel incredibly lucky to be able to do this unlike the poor people in Ukraine.

The news that I wanted to share is that I’ve decided to produce a mini-course for new Affinity Photo users which I’m releasing on YouTube. The first part went live yesterday (https://youtu.be/RChxuWyjaYc) and there will be further lessons every few weeks. I’m hoping it will help some of the people who find Affinity Photo a struggle.

I hope you like the image and have a great weekend.
