Infrared tree study on the banks of Derwent Water. Olympus EM5 converted to shoot Infrared (despite what the file name might suggest)
I’m going to keep this one a short post as its getting very late and I want to pack up for the day. This is another of the tree shots from last weekend. This tree was incredibly photogenic; I don’t know why but I am grateful. It was about the only subject that seemed to work either in Infrared or conventional.
I hope you have a great weekend and if you’re out with a camera, I hope you have better luck than I did.
I am a Landscape Photographer based in the North West of England. Unlike most photographers I believe smaller and lighter is better when it comes to cameras and equipment.

I am afraid I can’t find anything to enjoy with infrared, I really enjoy photos taken in usual lighting.

Oh well, each to their own. I did try shooting this with a convensional camera and it didn’t look good. I had to respond to the conditions having spent three hours driving to the location.
Stunning Pictures. Really one of the best images i have ever seen. Appreciate your hard work and efforts. As an Photographer i can understand how much efforts and patience is required to capture pictures like these. Great Work done. Even i am also a photographer but now i think i am not that much good as you are. You can have a look at my work at http://www.nitinkhanna.net/ and also let me know how you find my work. I would love to hear from photographer like you. Thanks in advance.

I love this picture. It has a delicate mystical quality about it.
Thank you. That’s one of the qualities I like about Infrared photogrpahy. I find it quite mystical.
