Sometimes you just strike it lucky with the weather and location. And so it was last weekend. I would like to think it was Karma balancing out the universe following the dreadful website hosting problems on Lenscraft and perhaps I’m owed a few more good Landscape days. Somehow I doubt it.

I hope you like the image. This is a location on Side Pike looking over towards the Langdale Pikes in the Lake District. I remember frequently looking over to Side Pike when climbing the Lansdale’s and thinking how small it looked. Despite this it gives a stunning view for very little effort (compared with climbing the Lansdale’s that is).
