I am a Landscape Photographer based in the North West of England. Unlike most photographers I believe smaller and lighter is better when it comes to cameras and equipment.

Great image Robin, thanks for sharing. I guess that it required quite a bit of processing? I often shot similar scenes but was never able to obtain such a nice balance of light an contrast!

Actually it didn’t require very much processing at all. I metered off the centre of the frame which threw the edges into shadow. When converting the RAW file in LIghtroom I switched the camera profile to “Natural”. I then added a little structure and contrast to the lighter area of the image with Viveza.
