Dfine and Noise Reduction

A noise free photograph is often seen as a sign of quality and being able to control and remove noise from your images is a valuable skill that all photographers need. Excessive noise will kill an otherwise great image. Sharpness is affected, colours and saturation become muted and the impact is lost.

This book is primarily about how to obtain great results using Nik Dfine 2 to remove noise from your images butalso delves into the causes of noise and how you can counter these by changing the way you use your camera. It covers not only the operation of the software but how to extract the very best performance from it.

The book includes two worked examples for which full resolution sample images can be downloaded from my Lenscraft website in order to follow along.

I bought all your other NIK books but Dfine is only available in UK. I am in USA. Why or when are you going to make this available to us?

Hi Dean, firstly thanks for purchasing my books. I just checked the Amazon US site and when searching under my name, you are right that the book isn’t listed. But if you search for nik dfine it comes up. I will report this to Amazon as all books are published worldwide. Thanks for raising this.
